Election of officers and board members will take place at that meeting. All positions are open for two year terms. Anyone interested in a position on the board should contact Mitch at 603-323-7442 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will pass it along to the nominating committee. Positions are listed on the contacts page on the website.
Fall Trail Work Begins: OVSC will be in the trails every weekend till further notice doing fall trail work. We will be meeting at Canoe King / OVSC Headquarters each weekend morning and head out from there. 8:30 is when we would like to leave the parking lot so getting there around a 1/2 hour before and ready to go would be good. What we have planned is trail brushing and trail inspection. So bring protective eyewear, loppers, weed wacker (if you have one) w/ a full tank of gas, gloves etc. If you have any questions you can email or give us a call. 1-603-323-7442 ask for John or Mitchell. We sure hope we have good turnouts as the trails really have overgrown.
General Membership Meeting: Our first General Membership Meeting was held this past Saturday. We discussed the upcoming season, club operations, equipment maintenance and events. We also discussed the great response from so many of our members with donations and their early memberships. THANK YOU!!!! and keep em coming. Congrats to Carl and Teresa R. as the winners of the Snowmobile Dolly set provided by Watson’s General Store. Carl and Teresa were automatically entered in the early membership raffle that was drawn Labor Day Weekend. Remember that our meetings are held the first Saturday of each month October thru March. All our members and friends are invited. As of this writing there is an open seat on our Board of Directors. Thanks to Willie S. for his support over the past years. As he steps down we hope to get another enthusiastic member to fill his shoes.

Groomers were out last night processing Friday’s snow. Corridor 19 from Conway to Ossipee was groomed as well as most of the trails in the Tamworth/Wonalancet area. The snow didn’t appear to be setting up as well as we had hoped, so you can expect them to get bumpy by midday. Get out early for the best trail conditions.
Our first annual Poker Run was held yesterday and we hope everyone that attended had a great time. Congratulations to Stacy P. for her win with a full house!
Don’t forget about our upcoming Annual Meeting being held March 5th at the Union Hall in South Tamworth. We will be serving a spaghetti dinner at 6PM with the meeting to be held immediately after dinner. There will be no charge for the dinner. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle to help offset the cost of the dinner. Please email Jen at email@example.com if you plan to attend so we can prepare enough food for everyone.
